Metal Shop textures

Over the years, I've compiled this set of textures for extensive use in creating my own "digitally painted" art photography by photographing metal surfaces in just the right light and then post-processing them to create even more texture magic. Now I'm making them available in this set for other digital artists to use.

Great for: backgrounds; scrapbooking; web design; post-processing photos

Use any of these textures as a background to add a touch of grunge to your digital artwork or use these textures as a screen overlay on photographs to get a dreamy watercolor effect (see my example).

Please note that the charm of these textures is that they are enhanced photographs of rust, rusted metal and other metallic surfaces. The texture of the metal, rust, and any signs of aging have been beautifully preserved in these hi-res images so you may enjoy them in all their rustic goodness
