Incense Vietnam Typeface

The Typeface is inspired by richly-cultural materials and unique visual language of the ancient capital of Hue, Vietnam.

The image below represents a typical form of arch that plays an initial role in ancient architectural complex of Tu Duc Tomb. The arch architecture is a major feature in imperial tombs of Hue which creates the antiquity, balance and harmony for the whole structure.

The tone marks system is inspirited by the slender image of Vietnamese incense, originally from Thuy Xuan traditional culture village of Hue. The willowy stokes translate a sense of delicacy and simplicity into the shape of Incense Typeface.

The typeface’s name - “Incense Vietnam” accumulates the author’s desire to endorse original products of Vietnam which contributes to the cultural introduction to the global market.
