Genuine Gold Photographic Print LUTs

Emulate the different archival and modern photographic processes used Gold, and get the ranging from continuous muted grey to blue, green, violet, red, lavender, or pink hues.

The printing of photographs in pure gold, rather than the ubiquitous medium of silver, was first achieved in 1842 by Sir John Herschel, but his innovative Chrysotype process was soon consigned to obscurity, owing to its expense and uncertain chemistry.

Aurotype is a monochrome photographic printing process that uses Gold chloride, potassium ferricyanide and ferrocyanide. It was described in 1844 by Robert Hunt.

The Ziatype Gold is an alternative process that uses lithium palladium chloride and gold as the primary metals and ammonium ferric oxalate for the iron compound to produce a continuous tone print.

The modern processes have been invented by R.W. Schramm, Mike Ware, Subba Hamilton, Richard Sullivan, Richard Eugene Puckett, Ivan Dalla Tana, Terry King and others.

You may use these LUTs on both Color and Black & White images or videos. If you are working with black and white images in Adobe Photoshop or similar redactors, make sure that the working color space should be RGB (not Grayscale!).

The LUTs are monochromatic, please do not use Opacity or Fill sliders, try to apply other tools to make the finishing touches.
